E-Flowers r us/ www.FreshFlowerIndia.com is committed to providing customers all over India with the freshest flowers and gifts baskets containing cakes, chocolates and gourmet foods, for every occasion.

E-Flowers r us creates flower bouquets and designs that are based on the famous art of Japanese flower arrangement called Ikebana. These designs, are therefore the only kind in the market. The material that is used consists of both seasonal flowers ranging from roses, carnations, lilies to more exotic varieties such as anthuriums and mokara orchids.

E-Flowers r us provides exclusive offers for festive occasions such as Diwali, Raksha bandhan, Christmas and New Year. They deliver floral arrangements for large corporate offices, conferences and many functions held in chambers of commerce. Furthermore, they provide consultation, and services for large scale floral decorations in wedding ceremonies.

History

Prabha Bhandari is the founder of E-Flowers r us. She is a certified Ikebana artist trained for many years in the Ohara school of Ikebana, in Japan. She began learning Ikebana, as a hobby when she lived in Japan in 1974. She visited Japan, on many occasions and continued to enrich herself with not only the technique but the underlying philosophy of this beautiful art.

For many years before starting the E-Flowers r us enterprise in 1999, she conducted demonstrations in various horticultural events in Delhi. She has won numerous awards at flower shows, and is a prominent member of the society of Kitchen Garden - Delhi.

What began as a hobby of Ms. Prabha Bhandari is now a leading floral business in India. Despite the dramatic success and fame, Ms. Prabha Bhandari along with her staff, continually improves existing designs, and innovates new product offerings, for the utmost customer satisfaction. E-Flowers r us customer base continues to expand beyond Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon as they find themselves at a clear edge over competition in the market.

Team

Ms. Prabha Bhandari – Founder of E-Flower r us. Has Degree of Instructor (5 years degree course) from Ohara School Osaka, Japan, She is an active member of Delhi Ikebana International, with more than 30 years of Ikebana experience

Staff

Ms. Rekha -- Secretary/Assistant. Bachelor of Arts (B.A) - Handles all operations related to customer service.

Mr. Raju - Lead Florist -- He has good sense of design and color combination. He has been trained under Ms.Prabha Bhandari for now four years.

Mr. Amar, Mr. Anil – Florists / Assistant.

Other

Demontration at Nikko Hotel Delhi, 2005. It was attended by Ohara School of Ikebana Delhi Chapter members and visiting guests. The theme was how Ikebana can be useful to make flower arrangements as a gift. A butterfly was created to gift a child.

Demonstration at USA -- Japanese Friendship Garden, Balboa Park, SAN DEIGO, USA, the nation's largest urban cultural park. Home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the San Diego Zoo, the Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts, and classes, all in the beautiful and timeless setting. Japanese Friendship Garden is a valued asset to Balboa Park, and also an educational resource to the community. It provides a variety of seminars, classes and workshops. This demonstration was held . and attended by many visitors to the Balboa Park. It was a very successful event.

Exhibitions

• 1,2, 2009, March New Delhi, exhibit – displayed at Select City Walk Mall at Saket ,New Delhi. Showing the flowers moving in framework of cities windows.
• 1,2, 2008 Hyderabad,exhibit – Asian regional Conference and exhibition held at Hyderabad. Style was based on Ohara School's principles, based on heavenly lines, looking up to sky. Dry stems of flower pods, artichoke and lilies were combined together in glass vase, and plant roots were added to give interesting curve and movement.
• Exhibition at New Delhi, Asoka Hotel, Ikebana International- Theme was Metal n Petals. Showing industrialization in cities. Wire mash rolls were used to depict industries and orchid flowers symbolized smoke.
